Introducing Solibri Inside: Allowing designers automated rule-based BIM quality checking as they model – Resulting in better BIM thanks to an integrated SaaS solution within Nemetschek authoring tools

Today Solibri is proud to introduce a new cloud-based service offering – Solibri Inside. Solibri Inside, a SaaS-based solution, provides in-design model checking for users of Graphisoft Archicad, Allplan, and Vectorworks.

Created as a solution for designers, Solibri Inside works as a native feature that can be used within the authoring tool and can run checks within a SaaS-based environment as and when the designer wishes. No longer does the designer need to export the model and open other software to perform basic model checking. This innovative solution comes inbuilt within Nemetschek authoring tools and can be easily accessed from a simple palette-like functionality in the UI of the authoring tool. Solibri Inside ensures that every model can be checked upfront before sharing within the workflow with other team members. The integrated quality checking is a time saver for the designer, ensuring the details are right, before submitting the BIM to the coordination workflow.

The first release of Solibri Inside allows the checking of Door & Window clearances and the supporting Level of Information (LOI). The service is a standard free package within Graphisoft Archicad, Allplan and Vectorworks. By registering, more features are unlocked, and the Premium paid package allows the customization of rule checks to suit a designer’s specific project need - ensuring everyone in the team works with the same requirements. The solution will continue to evolve in close cooperation with the users, further automating the QA process.
